The Doņa Ana Camera Club is a group of photographers and people interested in photography. Our meetings offer technical presentations, friendly suggestions for improving your photos, networking, and other activities for a wide spectrum of photographers and abilities.
We meet the first and third Tuesday each month.
The first Tuesday meetings will consist of topics relating to "After you hit the shutter button". The third Tuesday meetings will address club business and topics relating to "Before you hit the shutter button" such as composition and lighting.
Visitors are always welcome to our monthly meetings and programs, designed to improve photographic skills at all levels.

June 4th, there will be a presentation "Finding and Entering Photo Competitions and Shows" by Storm Sermay.
Robert Williams will present a discussion on "Star Field Astrophotography" using a new device that allows the
camera to track the motion of the stars.
June 18th, there will be a presentation "Lighting" by Don Arnott.
Jim Rodgers will present "10 minutes with Vivian Maier."

Storm Sermay, photographer and member, will be opening her photo show "Capturing Cuba" at the Main Street Gallery at 311 N. Main St., Las Cruces.
Opening reception will be Friday, June 7, 2013 at 5:00 - 7:00 pm. The show will continue through the month of June.

September 28, 2013 - Southwest Photographic Symposium. The Dona Ana Camera Club of Las Cruces, NM will sponsor its 2013 Symposium at the San Andres High School in Mesilla, NM. This day long event is intended for photo club members and photographers of all skill levels, with the purpose of educating, networking, and socializing. August 20, 2013 at the general meeting, Robert Williams will present a PowerPoint presentation on Favorite Places / Favorite Things.
Be sure to submit your photos of those special places you have traveled to or favorite things you may have to Robert in time for the presentation. Please include with each photo a notation of the location and a brief description. |
